§ 10-306. Report of articles received.

  • Any person engaged in the business of buying and selling junk, of buying and selling secondhand goods of any kind or description whatsoever or a pawnbroker in the city shall report to the chief of police by 9:00 p.m. every day, except Sunday, on blanks to be furnished by the city council, the name and description of every article received during that day and the name of the person from whom such goods or articles were received. If the name of the person from whom the articles or goods are received is unknown to such dealers, they shall give an accurate description of such person upon such report blanks.
