§ 74. Search warrants for narcotics.

  • The police officers of said mayor and city council shall have power to secure a search warrant for the searching of any premises within the limits of said city and one mile in any direction beyond the limits of said city upon the oath and information of any person that he or she has reasonable ground to believe that cocaine, morphine, heroin or other narcotic is kept or stored on said premises for the purpose of being sold, and to pass ordinances for the punishment for unlawful sales of the same.
