§ 35A. Director of utilities.

(a)

There is hereby created the position of director of utilities.

(b)

The director of utilities shall have full responsibility for all work performed by the department of utilities and shall be responsible for the direction of the operation of said department. The department of utilities shall include, but shall not be limited to environmental technician, water supply and distribution, waste water treatment plant, sanitary sewers, storm sewers and flood maintenance, and such other divisions within said department as the mayor and city council may, from time to time, so designate.

(c)

The director of utilities shall perform such other duties and have such other responsibilities as the mayor and city council may, from time to time, designate.
